Scholarships

SCHOLARSHIPS 

Multiple scholarships are available to anyone interested in entering into the Merit Shop construction industry.

1. BrassCraft Zell Scholarship Program.

The BrassCraft Zell scholarship program offers scholarship funds to apprentices up to $1,500.00 annually.  Students apply for the scholarship online through the website www.brasscraft.com/about-us/brasscraft-zell-scholarships/.  The criteria for receiving a scholarship  hasn’t changed – the student must be enrolled/enrolling in an accredited four or five year program and is apprenticing in pipe fitting.  The funds are sent directly to your school.  Rhode Island Construction Training Academy meets the criteria.


2. Trimmer Education Foundation Scholarship.

The Trimmer Construction Education Fund and NCCER are pleased to announce the 2018 Build Your Future scholarship is now accepting applications. This opportunity is open to anyone who is currently pursuing craft professional training in the construction industry through an NCCER accredited program or a state or federally approved apprenticeship program in a merit-shop training facility. Applications will be accepted from now until July 13, 2018. Ten scholarships valued at $2,000 for each recipient will be awarded. View and/or apply for scholarship criteria here.

3. Heritage  PHCE Scholarship.

As part of an ongoing commitment to training the next generation of expert technicians, Heritage PHCE offers a pair of $3000.00 scholarships to students pursuing a career in electrical, heating and HVAC fields.  $6000.00 is awarded in the form of two $3000.00 scholarships each year on December 1st.  the application process can be found here:
