RICTA is looking for instructors in multable trades for September 2023. Classes are 2 nights per week and can be scheduled either Monday and Wednesday OR Tuesday and Thursday nights.  Class time is 6:00 - 9:00 pm and takes place at the Roosevelt Avenue facility in Pawtucket.

RICTA requires the person carry a license a minimum of 5 years.

RICTA is pleased to offer, in person, the 2020 15 Hour Electrical Code Update class for Rhode Island and Massachusetts. This class will fulfill the mandatory code updates for class A and class B electricians.  Course will cover National Electrical Code changes and Rhode Island Code changes and/or Massachusetts Code changes. RI and/or MA amendments will be given at class.  You must attend all 15 hours to receive the certificate given at the end of the class.

Participants must bring 2020 National Electrical Code book or the electronic version, all electrical licenses and form of ID.

Classes take place at Pawtucket Facility, 249 Roosevelt Avenue.

R I Construction Training Academy (RICTA) has been training apprentices in Rhode Island since 1992.  RICTA is a state approved apprenticeship program.  The curriculum used Contren Learning Series has been developed by the NCCER*

The apprenticeship classes are designed to meet the state requirement of training, 144 hours each year.  Upon completion of the program along with on-the-job training hours, the student will be eligible to register for the state license exam.
